About

We are the Knights and Ladies of the Class of 1960. Our Motto. For 2010 we are SEHSKnights. Perhaps by the time of our reunion we will have a permanent web-page.

Southeast High School of Kansas City, Missouri as it was in its old location at 3500 East Meyer Blvd.

At one time our number was something like 400 strong with 350 graduating in 1960. We hope to honor our class-mates who are no longer alive and list those who are missing.

Feel free to leave a comment and if you are from another class, by all means let us know what your class is up to.

    Dear Classmates,

What a terrific reunion! Hoorah and Wahoo!!! In case you are wondering, Mac Hooper is still working diligently on the Reunion Book and hopes to have it to the printer in a few days. With a little luck, we will have them available this year. We will let you know as soon as they are completed. Ed Harnett has graciously offered to host a Reunion Book signing party. The fun never ends. The draft of the book looks fantastic; Mac and his supervisors (Patty and Diane) are doing a great job. By the way, if you ordered a group picture and didn’t receive it, please let me know and I will get one to you.

I am also pleased to let you know that the Southeast High School Alumni Association is hosting a holiday gathering at Southeast on Thursday, December 16, 2010, from 6:30-8:00 pm. Tours of the school, auditorium and museum space will be available, there will be a brief program and refreshments will be served. There will also be ample time for fun visiting and socializing with classmates and graduates from other years. This will be an excellent opportunity to see and learn first hand some of what your alumni association is up to and to be assured that the school is being maintained as an environment consistent with and conducive to the passing on of the values and traditions we grew up with. If you can attend, please RSVP to me at sparks.dean@gmail.com. I hope to see you there.

    All the best!

    Dean Sparks
