Tom Keck’s Son Dies in Crash (click for video)

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Christopher Keck, who was killed this week in a collision on I-635. This report on KMBC pays tribute to Chris and his wife and their five children. May the comfort and strength of our Father in heaven be abundantly upon each one as they mourn their sudden loss.

May graduation,when and where?

18 May

Does anyone remember the details?

This may be a little embarassing, but after 50 years, I can’t remember these things and I could sure use some help. If you have in your keepsakes box any thing that will jog our memories, please let me know.

Do you still have a graduation announcement we could scan and add to our blog? While we are on the subject, I noticed another class put up the original winners of the voting regarding ‘best dressed’, ‘most popular’, ‘most likely to suceed’, etc. It might be a hoot for us to have that list on our blog as well. If you still have your yearbook of ’60 you could copy the list and send it to me or add it here as a comment.

Please help an old man out.

Summer Music 1960

30 Apr

Remember any of these from our senior year?

Wonder if there will be some oldie music to dance by at our 50th Reunion? Guess we need to get prepared and make a list of those we remember- even to this day. Of course who can forget those by Elvis. But I do remember, now that you mention it, some of the instrumentals, such as the one above and Greenfields.

If your favorite of the time is not here, add it as a comment below and I’ll try to find a youtube link.
